You are a
representative of the Tulelake-Butte Valley Fair and are
expected to act accordingly during your term.
No drinking, drug or tobacco use by any member will be
tolerated.
You are required to attend all Junior Fair Board meetings
throughout the year. If, for some reason, you are unable to
attend a meeting, it is your responsibility to contact an
advisor before the meeting. One unexcused absence and youre
out.
If you have been absent, it is up to you to make sure your
absence has been cleared.
Be attentive at each meeting. Take notes if necessary. You
can miss important information if you are distracted.
Participate during the meetings. The fact that you are
there does not mean you are there. Show your enthusiasm!
If you have an excused absence from a required activity,
you are required to make it up.
During the fair:
You must always wear your Junior Fair Board identification
badge when you are representing the board or the fair. You
will be counted as absent if you are not properly dressed at
a Junior Fair Board event.
Always listen to your advisors, Senior Board, fair staff
and each other, even if you think you know what they are
going to say.
Give every event/task your all. The more you put into the
program, the more you will get out of it.
REMEMBER: Being on the Junior Fair Board is a privilege.
Do not abuse your authority or position.
