Congratulations to our 2025 Fair Court Miss Kayla Frye and Miss Irma Contreras Pulido!

Miss Tulelake: Kayla Frey

My name is Kayla Frey, and I am 17 years old and going to be a senior at Tulelake High School. My parents are Teresa and Daniel Frey. I am the Vice President of my FFA chapter as well as my school's ASB. I play volleyball, basketball, and softball, as well as being on the dance team. I enjoy spending quality time with friends and family. My favorite thing about the fair is seeing the community come together and watching everyone enjoy their time and having fun. My involvement at the fair has been showing market swine since 4th grade, starting in 4-H and moving over to FFA in 8th grade. After high school I plan on becoming a dental hygienist and move back to Klamath Falls after school. I plan on traveling after college to different states I haven't visited yet as well as going back to Europe.

Miss Butte Valley: Irma Contreras Pulido

My name is Irma Contreras Pulido, daughter of Manuel and Maria Contreras. I have seven siblings — one brother and six sisters. I stay involved in my school and community through FFA, Junior Fair Board, 4-H, and serving as Class and ASB Secretary. I also play soccer and basketball during the high school season, AAU, rec, and club.

I’ve been showing swine at the fair for four years, and my favorite part is seeing the community come together to support the youth and exhibitors. After high school, I plan to become an RNA and a part-time real estate agent, hoping to help people in both careers.

We hope you will join us for the 2025 Tulelake Butte Valley Fair where we will celebrate "50 Years of Royalty", with 50 Years of the Tulelake Butte Valley Fair Court!

Miss Tulelake and Miss Butte Valley have the honor of being the official representatives and hostesses of the Tulelake-Butte Valley Fair!

APPLICATIONS DUE TO THE FAIR OFFICE BY Thursday, February 13, 2025!

Judging interviews will be held in Tulelake on Sunday, February 16, applicants will be notified when they are scheduled.

Benefits include up to $300 worth of clothing/tiara for each representative, $500 scholarship, and the honor of being Miss Tulelake and Miss Butte Valley!

2024 Tulelake-Butte Valley Fair Court Crowned

On Saturday, March 2, 2024, the Tulelake Butte Valley Fair crowned their 2024 Fair Court at their annual fair friends fundraising event.

The panel of judges, selected Makenzie Perez as Miss Tulelake. Makenzie will represent the Tulelake-Butte Valley Fair, at numerous events throughout the year and at the 2024 Tulelake-Butte Valley Fair.

Introducing Miss Tulelake

Makenzie Perez is a 17 year-old Senior at Tulelake High School. She is the daughter of Carolin and Jesus Perez. She has one sister, Katie, and an older brother, Isaiah. She enjoys playing sports, participating in FFA activities and visiting with family and friends.

Makenzie plays volleyball, basketball and softball and is involved in the Tulelake FFA Chapter. She is also the Vice President of the student body at Tulelake High School. She has been described as a very approachable, passionate, and outgoing young lady.

Makenzie is looking forward to representing her community and encouraging young people to get involved in their school activities and community service clubs.

McKenzie is looking forward to representing the community at various festivals and fairs this spring and summer. The highlight of her reign will be the Tulelake-Butte Valley Fair as she attends to her royal duties throughout the duration of the fair from September 5th-8th, 2024.

Miss Butte Valley - Emely Ceniceros

Hi, my name is Emely Ceniceros and I am this years Miss Butte Valley. My parents are Avelino and Sandra Ceniceros, I’m 17 years old and a senior at Butte Valley High school. I enjoy playing soccer and basketball and am very involved in my schools FFA and ASB. My favorite part of the fair might be the fair food. No, actually I really enjoy seeing the community coming together and having fun for a couple of days, and being able to enjoy that time with my family and friends. I look forward to the fair this year and am very excited to be serving on the fair court as this years Miss Butte Valley!

Miss Tulelake – Gissell Hernandez

Hi! My name is Gissell Hernandez and I am serving as this years Miss Tulelake. I will be starting school as a senior this year. I have been my class president for two years now and am an active member in my school and am always looking for new opportunities. I love working with our youth and volunteering wherever I can! My favorite part of the fair is when my family from all over California comes visit the fair too because they also know how great it is!

Emely and Gissell will represent the Tulelake-Butte Valley Fair, and their respective communities, at numerous events throughout the year and at the 2023 Tulelake-Butte Valley Fair. Both girls will be eligible to receive a scholarship upon their high school graduation to help further their continued education.
